- Account Information: Name, email address, WhatsApp phone number, and property details you provide during sign-up or waitlist registration.
- Property Data: Property names, addresses, house rules, check-in/checkout instructions, and WiFi credentials you enter into the platform.
- Booking Data: Guest names, booking dates, and reservation details synced from your Airbnb calendar (iCal).
- Communication Data: Messages exchanged between guests, cleaners, and the AI assistant via WhatsApp, stored to provide context-aware responses.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the dashboard, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the GoStayo platform, including automated guest communication and cleaning coordination.
- Send scheduled messages (check-in instructions, checkout reminders, etc.) on your behalf via WhatsApp.
- Generate daily briefings, occupancy analytics, and revenue reports for your dashboard.
- Track and manage guest-reported issues for your properties.
- Improve our AI responses and service quality.
- Communicate with you about your account, product updates, and support.
3. WhatsApp Data
GoStayo integrates with WhatsApp to communicate with your guests and cleaners on your behalf. We store message content to maintain conversation context and provide accurate responses. We do not share WhatsApp conversations with third parties. Messages are processed by AI to generate appropriate replies based on your house rules and booking data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- AI Providers: Message content is sent to AI language model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate guest replies. This data is processed according to their respective privacy policies and is not used to train their models.
- Service Providers: We may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and email delivery that process data on our behalf.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, legal process, or government request.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure database storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Booking and communication data is retained for up to 12 months after checkout. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
